Hello! I’m Sharon and I’m an avid reader and writer or children’s literature. I’ve always dreamed of opening a secondhand bookshop and this is my take on it. A bookshop in your pocket if you will. I’m supported in everything I do by three cats: Scout, Gable and Agatha Pancake. Sometimes they help with the typing. Sometimes they sit on the laptop. Most of the time they’re up to no good.

What will you find here?

As people grow older, they generally change their taste in books, whether that is down to what’s known as ‘growing up’ or just peer-pressure and fitting in. They tend to migrate from books for children to books for adults because, like many other things in life, that’s just what you do. Personally, I can stand the ridicule of someone questioning why I read kids’ books and can quite happily tell them that they’re missing out.

So, I thought to myself, I’ll create a website where parents can go to find out what they’re children may want to read, what they ought to read, and also provide some things that I’ve written to - like episodic bedtime stories. Many children don’t get read to when they’re growing up and it really does affect them. Now there’s no excuse, here you’ll find some free content to read to them, a little bit at a time.
